IBM Lotus® Sametime® 7.5.1 is a platform for unified communications and collaboration, combining security features with an extensible, open framework.
To enable your organisation to quickly deploy IBM Lotus Sametime and start to benefit from an enterprise grade instant messaging system, BE Systems are able to offer FREE installation to accompany the FREE licensing available from IBM. BE Systems will install and integrate Sametime into your existing IBM or Microsoft environment and allow you to experience the benefits to your own organisation.
The FREE installation offer includes one day of on-site consultancy from BE Systems to install IBM Lotus Sametime v7.5.1 in conjunction with your existing support teams. The installation will include making available the various Lotus Sametime clients to allow you to deploy these to your users. To ensure that we deploy this successfully, we will need:
An installed and configured server, running with either Windows 2003, Linux or AIX
Support from your OS and AD or Lotus Domino teams
Access to your corporate Lotus Notes or Active Directory environment
Access to two test PCs to deploy the clients to
For point to point video and web conferencing - webcams and PC headsets for each trial user
BE Systems will then walk your teams through an installation of IBM Lotus Sametime and show you how to manage the trial. We'll also show you how to deploy the client to new users and how to fully evaluate the software.

Automatically send e-mail if user is offline
If you try to send a message to a chat partner who has gone offline, you will be prompted to send the message via e-mail instead (with the chat conversation automatically included in the e-mail).
Screen capture annotation
Enhancements to the screen capture tool include the ability to annotate the screen capture - click and drag on the captured image to draw on it before sending it to your chat partner(s).

Turn off all in-meeting chat, via policy
Administrators can choose particular users who cannot chat during meetings. These users can view the group chat but can't type into it and can't send or receive person-to-person chats.
Capturing attendance
All attendees are listed in the Meeting Details page after a meeting ends.
Right-click menus
The content area now has a right-click menu where you can control how content is displayed and where presenters can advance slides.

Select and act on multiple people in the participant list.
Fully resizable left-hand sections
The left-hand sections in the meeting room can be fully resized or hidden entirely.
IP audio request mode
When using integrated audio you can either use:
Standard automatic mode - which switches from one user to the next automatically or
Request mode - where users choose to have the microphone and where they pass the microphone to the next user when they are done speaking.
Support for bi-directional languages
The meeting room now supports full bi-directional mirroring, including support for Hebrew and Arabic.
Native conversion of documents on UNIX and i5/OS
Convert documents uploaded to a Web conference on UNIX and i5/OS servers.
